Dr. Mark DeLegge, is a Professor of Medicine at the Digestive Disease Center in Charleston, South Carolina. He is also the Nutrition Services Medical Director at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), and is board-certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and nutrition. He is the author of numerous book chapters, original articles, and abstracts in multiple areas, and he is an active investigator in clinical research. He has served on multiple national gastroenterology and nutrition committees. He is a highly acclaimed international lecturer, and his presentation and teaching style has received many outstanding reviews, including recognition by MUSC medical students as Professor Of The Year and Clinician Of The Year as voted on by hospital staff. With sixteen years of experience working with corporations, he can advise your group in matters of future directions and provide insight into the way of Gastroenterolgist, surgery and nutrition..
Becky DeLegge, obtained her M. S. in Bioengineering from Clemson University and then worked as a Project Designer at Zimmer Orthopedic Implant Division and Wilson Cook Medical for a total of ten years. She has performed consulting work in the medical field for the last eight years, specializing in the design of implantables, such as stents, and enteral access devices. This work has resulted in thirty-three patents and provisionals. Becky is CEO of Hammerhead Design. With her expertise in the patent arena and in device development she has assisted other inventors in getting their device through the development process and into corporate hands.
Sharon Martinez, Organ Design Specialist, is a Surgical Research Supervisor at the Medical University of South Carolina. She has been designing organs for specialized courses for over 6 years, and she is the national expert in the field. Her imagination and hard work carry her far!
Robin King-Murray is a former veterinary technician and currently a Research Specialist at the Medical University of South Carolina. She designs and fabricates our stomach models and also travels to endoscopy teaching courses as a field technician. Robin recently attended the National ASLAS meeting as a program presenter for a published abstract. She has been working with Hammerhead Design in organ design for 3 years. With her drive and love of a good challenge she works well under pressure.
Both Sharon and Robin work in designing anatomy to fit your needs. If you need polyps, lesions, tumors, bleeders they can do it! The sky is the limit with them.
Priscilla McMahon is the administrative contact for Hammerhead Design. She has over twenty-five years experience working with the public in the local government sector. She manages the shipping, customer service and billing department. With a growing business like ours, this is no easy task!
